We asked Martyn to join up with Maesteg Bluebirds in one of our fortnightly meetings, so we took this opportunity to ask him a couple of questions and get some photos.
Q: Who will you be playing for next season? And do you think Neil Alexander will be with us next season?
A: I have spoken to Lennie Lawrence at Bristol Rovers, I am not prepared to move from South Wales, having been away for 18 years. I can't speak for Neil. Question from Blubird2005 (CCFC Forum)
Q: There is a recent history of City keepers being written off only to bounce back spectacularly (Neil Alexander with Scotland & Tony Warner with Fulham in the premiership) so do you see yourself doing something similar with Wales or a Premiership or a top championship side?
A: It is difficult to say, but yes I still think I have a lot to offer. Question from ManOfHarlech (CCFC Forum)
Q: Who's the best player that you've played with or against?
A: Georgio Kinkladzi
Q: how do you think the future is looking for Cardiff City?
A: Cardiff must improve the training facilities, and the ground bust get the go ahead, if we are to compete as a club at the highest level.
Q: who is the best manager that you have played under?
A: Peter Reed, he had good man management skills and he gave me my league debut.
Q: What was you're proudest moment in football?
A: playing at Old Trafford in the local derby and beating them 0-1.
